This product is amazing and prevented an unnecessary vet visit. I was initially doubtful since some reviews mentioned that this product only requires wiping the solution around the eyes. However, within two days, my Siamese’s eye infection was cleared!

This has so helped my 4lb yorkies eyes. Though not completely. Her eyes aren't leaking anymore. All though we're working on stains below her eyes it's working very good. Good review from me.

1st time I used it on my furbaby she wasn't sure so I did a drop near her eyes. She didn't try covering her eyes/ scratching all day when we tried it. The next day she made sure she was in the perfect position to get her drops straight into her eyes, no more covering/ scratchy eyes. This gave my furbaby relief. Definitely effective.

I have a couple of issues with the packaging of this product. One, the dropper bottle. I use it on the 2 of my 3 cats who are allergy prone, and often get a dark discharge in the corners of their eyes. Don't know about dogs, but cats are more apt to struggle if you try to use a dropper on their eyes. Since they need to be wiped clean with a cotton pad anyway, (in order to remove the debris), it is way easier to squirt some of the liquid directly on the cotton pad, and then wipe the eye. It takes two hands to keep the cat still and wipe an eye at a time clean, and it is awkward to leave an open dropper bottle on a nearby flat surface while cleaning their eyes. My other criticism is that the maker is not ingenuous enough to print the quantity on the bottle. Not a heck of a lot of product for $15 plus including tax.When it ran out all too quickly, I decided to buy a bottle of Nutri Vet Eye Rinse, and I got a full 4 oz of product, which contained way more applications; it has a squirt bottle that can't spill if it tips over, and makes application a breeze, and it every bit as gentle and effective. I rinse my cats' eyes 2-3x a week as needed, and get far more apps to a bottle.

My cat is usually the one with messy eyes all the time which I found using sugar water to be the most gentle, least bothersome thing to use for him mainly because it was several times a week they needed cleaned. But the past few months his have been fine and my dog's have been really icky and one specifically has been really red and goopy so I wanted something I could use for both of them, plus I was creating pet 1st aid kits for traveling, walking etc so went thru many reviews, research and the ingredients to find this was one that met all of my needs. Price wise it was kindof inbetween, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I found that to be a good middle ground that does provide good value for the money, it has been so far good and doesn't seem to burn or irritate them any- it takes a few minutes and cleaning around it with hygiene wipes, holding it shut for a couple seconds for the red to start going away- not like instant clearing visine for humans, but it is usually this way with any drops I've tried on them and is only a couple minutes. The dog is usually somewhat difficult with anything she relates to medicine, but I think she's actually figured out that these help and knows it's when her eyes are irritated so she doesn't run and hide when I break these drops out, like with anything else. Also, the dropper lid thing where the drops come out is easy to open, close, dispense and it lets out a just right amount with a gentle squeeze not making any messes and easy on your hands.
