The sound quality is outstanding for a sound bar at this price point
I recently purchased the MEREDO Sound Bar for TV with Subwoofer, and here’s my review based on my experience with this 2-in-1 detachable sound system.Pros:Impressive Sound Quality: The sound quality is outstanding for a sound bar at this price point. The 5.25’’ subwoofer delivers deep bass that truly enhances the audio experience, making music and movie soundtracks feel more immersive.Detachable Design: The detachable feature of the sound bar is a game-changer. It allows for flexible placement depending on my room setup. I can use it as a standalone bar or separate it for a more surround sound feel, which is great for different viewing scenarios.Easy Setup: Setting up the sound bar was a breeze. It easily connected to my TV via Bluetooth and the included cables, and I was ready to enjoy better sound within minutes. The user manual was clear and helpful, making the installation process straightforward.Sleek Aesthetic: The design is modern and sleek, fitting seamlessly with my TV setup without being obtrusive. The compact size is perfect for smaller spaces, and it doesn’t take up too much room on my entertainment unit.Multiple Connectivity Options: The sound bar offers various connectivity options, including Bluetooth, AUX, and optical inputs. This versatility allows me to connect multiple devices easily, whether I’m streaming from my phone or watching TV.Remote Control Convenience: The included remote control is a nice touch, allowing for easy adjustments without having to get up. This feature enhances the overall user experience, especially during movie nights.Cons:Limited Volume Range: While the sound quality is impressive, I found that the maximum volume can sometimes feel inadequate for larger rooms or outdoor use. It works great in smaller spaces, but it may struggle to fill a larger area.Bass Control: The bass is deep, but some users might find it overpowering for certain types of audio. It would have been nice to have adjustable bass levels for a more customized listening experience.Build Quality: While the sound bar looks good, the build quality feels a bit less robust than I expected. It’s not a major concern, but I wonder how well it will hold up over time with regular use.Lack of Advanced Features: Compared to higher-end models, the MEREDO sound bar lacks advanced features like smart home integration or equalizer settings. Users looking for a more high-tech experience may find this limiting.Short Power Cable: The power cable could be longer. Depending on your setup, you might need an extension cord to reach your power outlet comfortably, which could be an inconvenience.Overall Verdict:The MEREDO Sound Bar for TV with Subwoofer offers excellent sound quality and versatility, making it a great addition to any home entertainment setup. Its impressive deep bass, detachable design, and easy setup are significant advantages, especially for users looking to enhance their audio experience without breaking the bank. While there are minor drawbacks such as limited volume range and bass control, the overall performance and user-friendly features make this sound bar a solid choice. If you’re in the market for an affordable yet effective sound solution for your TV, I highly recommend the MEREDO Sound Bar.

Merdo soundbar
Bought it before Christmas to replace a Samsung unit that had given up after a few yearsThis unit has a great base sound and clear trebleThe long base unit can be split into two upright speaker units that neatly sit either side of the tvThe base woofer sits hidden away behind the tvGreat value and a really impressive system given the price

Brilliant and versatile
I really liked this product for a few reasons.1. I like the fact you can separate the sound bar into two pieces and change it depending on your preference.2. The sub packs a punch and the functionality on the remote was a huge surprise, you can edit the amount of treble and bass.3. Wasn’t obvious but supports USB and Bluetooth to play music directly from your phone too.4. Quality of the speakers feels very premium.5. The outputs supported by the speaker are optical, BT, and HDMI-arc. All cables were also provide and packaged.6. For users worried about setup they also had an instruction book telling you how to set up a bunch of different tvs up via Bluetooth too which can be helpful for a lot of people.I didn’t find any cons of the product especially for the price, overall I recommend it for sure.

Works great
This is a great soundbar. I just hooked it up and I have to say I am very pleased. I had planned to wire it directly to the TV but the Bluetooth hook-up was so easy and works so good there is no point in going through the extra work. The sound quality is leaps and bounds better than that of the internal TV speakers. It automatically connects when I turn the TV on and operates using my remote. So, Easy to assemble, you can put like a long speaker or break out up to 2 speakers. Sounds are great.

It's OK
The sound is OK, better than my TV speakers.I like that you can have it as a single sound bar or separate speakers.I like that it's quite loud and reasonable amount of bass. Running Spotify through it sounded pretty decent.I like that with the eArc-HDMI you can use your tv remote to control the speakers.I don't like that, ironically, if I get the RH speaker anywhere near the tv, I get what sounds like distant drums. It's obviously not well screened for emi.I wish there were more control over equaliser rather than just 3 presets. But if you just want something better than your TV speakers, you're not too worried about sound quality and you don't want to spend a lot then, you're all good with this.Update- after using this for a while with different types of music, I've noticed that the bass is good but mid and high tones are very flat. And if I use the optical I get a lot of distortion. But it's still better than my Samsung TV speaker, which is pitiful.I bought a new hdmi dac and used the aux input of the speakers and the sound is pretty decent.
