Bought it to travel Field Hockey Stick by plane. Worked great, plenty of room for additional sticks, safety equipment, shoes and regular clothing. Lots of compartments.Only used once so far

Overall this bag is good. We ordered it for my five year old daughter who plays hockey and we wanted something that fit everything and that had shoulder straps. In that regard, it works great. It fits everything with a bit of room to spare, probably maxing size wise in a few years. When the shoulder straps are used it sits on her back great, and she can carry it pretty well. My only slight complaint is I wish that the zippers were a bit more heavy duty. They haven't separated but this bag gets a bit abused during all the travels and my daughter isn't the most careful person out there. But... no issues in three months so far, so five stars for me.

this is a very nice hockey duffel, holds up to weekly practice sessions, has roomy capacity, and the quality of fabric and hardware exceeded expectations. my son has been using this for months and it still looks great!

To be honest, I don't play hockey. I purchased this as a gig-bag for my guitar outings. It's just the right size for my pedal boards. I can travel with my iPad stand in this bag and on the other side I can even bring a collapsible music stand. The shoe compartment is just right for all the cables, mics and such that I carry with me. There are other pockets for storing all kinds of things. On top of all that I can carry it on my back if I have to hike to a venue. I can recommend this bag.

Overall I think this item is worth the $45 dollars that they have it priced at. Personally I will not be using it for hocky, but instead as a fishing bag since it is big enough (I can confirm) to hold multiple 2 part fishing rod so long as you do not mind the tips sticking out, you really could fit quite a few in there, like 1 per side pocket alone and many more in the main pocket if you wanted to. But it also has a decent amount of space for reels and tackle so this one seems like a winner to me overall, provided you like the form factor. Feels well made all around.

I don't play field hockey, but I do metal detect. This is perfect for fitting my metal detector and boots in. I also carry a trowel and screen and pin-pointer. I actually bring a lot with me when metal detecting. this has pockets and room for all of my needs...except a shovel of course, I need a long-handled shovel too, and that won't fit in the bag.
