The media could not be loaded. If you cook with raw garlic much, you know the pain and agony of owning a garlic press. Garlic presses are super handy, but TERRIBLE to clean! This one is different!! I’m so excited to add it to my kitchen, and I love the garlic roller it comes with to peel the garlic. I didn’t know I needed it… but I do!! Now I did need a lot of pressure to press the garlic, but I imagine smaller pieces of garlic will go easier. Love it!!

This did not work as well as I wanted. I do not think it is sharp enough to mince the garlic. It just smashed it flat. It will be in the next garage sale.

I opened this up and had a horrible smell. You guessed it. Smell was very garlicky. I thought the product was brand new??

This FANTEXY Garlic Press Rocker Set works great! I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner! Makes mincing garlic so effortless!

I wanted to try a rocking garlic press instead of a hinged garlic press as I find the hinged ones to be messy to use and clean. This rocker press is certainly cleaner to use as it has a simpler design. It appears to be well made. And I found the handle to be comfortable.Full disclosure—I used this with older cloves of garlic and I found that I had to press down on this rocker much harder than I had expected. And the fibers of the garlic didn’t go all the way through the press so I had to repeatedly press down on the sections. This may have been because the cloves were not fresh. In this circumstance dicing them by hand would have been more efficient. When I get fresher garlic I will update my review.

Having owned other garlic pressers in the past, this one is the easiest to use and the quickest to clean. Unlike the ones you press like a lemon squeezer, there are no tiny cracks for garlic to hide and get stuck in between. As long as you have a good flat surface, you can press down and rock this tool back and forth to create your minced garlic.The top handle and grooved side crackers are hard plastic and the base is smooth stainless steel. There aren’t any hard metal pieces/openings to knick you since everything is pretty much smoothed down. Although the top is plastic, it feels sturdy and not wobbly. The tool feels like one solid piece and not two pieces attached. It also comes with a silicone sleeve to roll the garlic in to remove the peel and a small cleaning brush.Overall, this is a lot more convenient with less cleanup than other garlic presses I’ve owned. I will be replacing those with this one.

Works fine but did not get the brush with the chopper

This garlic peeler and mincer is a life saver! I grew my own garlic this year and had a good crop. It's a real pain to try hand peeling and mincing lots of garlic heads! The peeling sleeve makes it so easy to clean each head, and the rocker mincing tool makes mincing a breeze. The mincing tool has a comfortably shaped handle that provides a sure grip, and the stainless steel mincing head goes right through garlic with no effort at all. Just place the garlic head below the tool and rock it and voila, job done! Getting the minced bits out of the mesh is easy if you use the brush that's included or the straight edge of a dinner knife. It's easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher, and it feels sturdy enough to last a long time. The set is saving me a lot of time and energy, and I really like it. The set is worthy of four stars, but at the current price it just isn't a very good value so I gave it 3 instead. At $9.98 this set is almost twice as much as identical sets available from other vendors, so I would shop around for the best value before purchasing.
