Pump as Described
Heavy pump and easy to install. Did not need a 2” out flow - reduced it to 1.5”, new pipe, new check valve and working fine. Time will tell regarding longevity. Original pump lasted 28 years (brand ?). Extremely quiet but location where installed would not matter anyway.

It's quiet
Just installed it today had some problems with the float I don't know if it's just getting it situated properly that's why I've only given it five stars after a little bit of using it I'm going to come back and review

Very bad quality.
Not very good quality. Rubber around power cord had rip in it where it goes into motor. Installed the pump and tested. Pump shoots water out the side of it.

Replaced nonworking pump
Direct replacement for a 3 year old $500 pump, so far so good , works great.Also replaced the check valve.
