Bad machine
Bought this thing from PConline .Where to start? Machine had problems from beginning; dvd drive worked only when it felt like it, speed was less than half that cited on site. And those were only the minor problems. The machine was advertised as being new, but when I tried to register it. I was informed that the warranty had expired more than a year ago. Furthermore, I was informed by Lenovo that it had been sold in Uganda and that my only option was to call Uganda.Update: just received a notice from Lenovo that the machine was sold more than TWO years ago.Further update: I have learned that PConline was deceived also; the acquired the machine from Lenovo and had no idea it was more than two years out of warranty and been sold in Uganda.

Easy setup
It's a great computer—fast, and setup was a breeze, as Windows 11 Pro did all the work for me. I could transfer all my files from my old computer right over to this new one using one of Microsoft's apps and didn't lose a thing, just back up everything first to the cloud or a removable drive. It's quiet, small and has plenty of USB ports and it will run dual monitors if you need to. For the price, you can't beat it!

so far, so good
I needed a new computer but did not have a ton of money to spend. I've been pleased with my Lenovo laptop for the past 3 years, so I went with this Lenovo desktop. It was economical yet has all of the features, capacity, and speed that I wanted. Install went well and it's running as it should. I have a hard time letting go of the past, so I'm glad it still has a CD drive. haha The only thing missing is a SIM card port, but I have an adapter for that.

It Seems OK
I waited a while before posting a review so it won't be one of those where you leave a glowing review when you get something only for something to go wrong a month later. The PC itself seems to be good. I haven't had any issues with the hardware. Was a little hesitant to get it because of the SSD drive (my first PC with one) but after reading about them, I feel a little better. I'll just have to make sure I do back ups on a regular basis in case there is trouble (but I don't think there will be).My main issue is Windows 11. I never understand why companies claim there's an update/upgrade yet it now takes you more clicks to do the same thing that it took less clicks to do in the old version. That's not an improvement. Another issue is the constant bugging me to use OneDrive (when I first turned it on, the PC decided to try to move all my documents and photos to OneDrive without me knowing). The PC just randomly reboots. It's not the case where it tells you it needs to reboot to do updates and lets you decide to reboot now or later. Several times I've left the PC for a couple hours or get ready to use it in the morning only to find it at the sign on screen. Very annoying. Just make sure you are always saving your docs throughout the day.I hate it when things "nickel and dime" you. I need to make sure I'm not using OneDrive. I need to make sure I'm always saving my docs. It takes me more clicks to do some things in Windows 11 than it did in Windows 10. Again, these are Windows 11 issues, not the actual PC. The PC is fine, I hate Windows 11.

A tiny desktop that is fast and smooth in operation
I had another Lenovo desktop for the past 12-13 years which was beginning to get wonky, especially with video for an impatient family member. It was originally a windows 7 machine that was upgraded to windows 10. I bought the V50t as a replacement for that one. The only thing I didn't like was that the old machine had a built-in wireless card and the V50t doesn't. On the other hand, the V50t is a far superior machine. This is used primarily for music (thousands of songs on itunes - yes I still use itunes), and video for a family member. I am pleased and hope this V50t lasts as long as the older Lenovo we had.

USED not NEW
This computer description leads the consumer to believe this computer is new. This computer was clearly used. Pictures denote computer repackaging and untaped from previous user. Out the box, the setup had already been initiated, which tends to make me believe if I shipped it back, I would be charged an excessive restocking fee. As far as the computer, it is slow (around CPU 3 mhz) in transferring files and typical software downloads. In fact, my old HP was much faster, but it could not update new technology software downloads. I thought I'd try a Lenovo compter this time. This was the wrong choice due to it probably being a return or prior tampering with. My Black Friday sale turned into a Black Friday customer rip-off. As several reviewers have stated, these are not new computers. I would not recommend this purchase or brand.
