My 2-yr old loves to play with this doll. She is very into baby dolls right now, and I am trying to have a variety of skin colors and types of dolls for her. The hair on the doll is really soft and easy to comb!

I was scared that the details of the doll wouldn't really resemble a black baby but it really does. I'm impressed that its a head full of hair and not just hair outlined with a bald spot in the middle

This black doll is really cute. She is a good size for young children to be able to hold, and her hair is well-sewn in. She comes with an extra outfit and some accessories.The accessories are not very nice quality. The mirror is a sticker that is applied crooked, so it doesn’t stay stuck to the plastic. The brush and comb are ok, but probably not the greatest thing to style this curly hair. I have seen better doll sets for the price, so this quality of this set as a whole is what I would consider ‘average’.It is difficult to find nice quality black dolls, and I appreciate that this one hits the mark in most ways. One thing I would change is the eye color. While beautiful and bright on this doll, blue eyes are extremely rare and brown eyes would better represent the little girls who are playing with her. I purchase dolls and other toys for children to play with when their parents bring them to ESL classes, and I love to find dolls that really represent the children.

I have seen an increase in brown and black skinned dolls, however many of them have an off look. This baby doll is really precious, and I was drawn to how her eyes looked and the innocent face. She arrived in a shoe sized box with no issues. This doll includes a brush, comb, pretend mirror, and a change of clothes. (Please pay attention to the age group 3 years and up to avoid a choking hazard). The two sets of clothing are the same only a different color. The doll’s arms and legs move, and the doll’s head can turn. I just can’t believe how beautiful she looks. She is a gift and I know she will be adored and loved.

This will eventually be a baby gift for a friend who is having a girl. It is nicely made and cute. It comes with a few accessories and extra clothing. It will be a while before the baby will be able to play with her, but she will be a cute addition to the nursery until then.

This baby has fantastic hair. She can be dressed in a couple of outfits: a bow for her hair, a comb, and a mirror. She has beautiful eyes, and there are reborn clothes out there that fit her well, too. Her head, arms, and legs are possible. She is worth the money.

This 12" African American baby doll is cute. She came in a decorated red/white/blue box reading "Doll Set" on the front. This wasn't very descriptive but it was sturdy and she traveled well in it.She actually reminds me of dolls our daughter had years ago: PVC vinyl with arm/legs/head able to swivel & even including some dimples in the knees. She can sit unaided. She's got a lovely curly Afro with a hair band holding it back. There also is a packet enclosed with a second outfit and hair accessories. She's lightweight and would be a good size for toddlers. It all looks pretty much like the listing photo.My only objection is that so many Black dolls (this one included) have facial features that look Caucasian with Black skin tones. It would be good for the doll designers to up-the -game.She's currently priced at $20. I wouldn't pay more but with the extras, she's worth that.
