Good buy
Excellent am/fm/sw radio for the price. Battery last longer than expected. D/C too. Good sound. Sturdy controls. So far, no issues.

Not bad, but with a few quirks
So far, so good. Reception is decent to pretty good, but not exceptional--but it's not worse than others--there are just some AM stations that very few radios seem to be able to catch (the only one that seems to be able to catch them consistently is my car radio, which is annoying.) and it's having similar issues, but it's not bad since most other radios have same issues as well. The few quirks that I ran into are 1) the battery/recharging feature has some issues. The manual says the LED should be flashing red while charging. It doesn't. It's just blue when it's plugged in, with no indication whether it's charging. Also, the radio does not turn on if the cable is still plugged in, but if it is not charging. While that's not uncommon, given that it is not obvious that there is a battery at all (given the inconsistencies between the manual and the LED light, for example), it seems very easy to miss the battery-powered aspect completely. 2) The manual says the battery should be good for around 200 recharge cycles and should last for about 4-6 hours on a full charge, depedning on volume. That seems a bit limited--makes it seem like the battery will be done after a year or so of listening to baseball daily. I'll have to see if that is actually true. 3) The USB power does not seem very compatible with a lot of AM stations, at least: a lot of interference with the signal, apparently, when the USB cord is plugged in. Again, not an uncommon issue, but I think the placement of the port might be worsening the problem. All in all, not bad. Not as versatile as hoped for (I was hoping to keep it plugged in via USB all the time to alternate as a bluetooth speaker and radio originally, but that's been scuppered given the interference issues). The description of the battery capability is a bit disappointing, but I'll just have to see how that goes.

Seems Solid. Good Sound. Good Battery Life
First off, if it didn't have radio at all it makes a better bluetooth speaker than others I've bought in the same price range ($10-$15). Its speaker sounds nice loud and clear unlike my others which tend to sound muddy to me, presumably because they're designed more to enhance bass.. but to me they sound muddy. But this one sound fresh and alive! There are no bass or treble controls but thats ok, it reproduces audio fine like it is.But of course, this is not just a bluetooth speaker, it's an AM/FM rechargeable radio too. The radio is larger than I was expecting, and that's great. Reception of both AM and FM seems fine, it doesn't seem to drift, it stays right on signal. I mostly listen to AM, I let it play all night while Coast to Coast AM is airing --- It seems saw that this thing should last only a couple hours per charge, but I'm getting a lot more than that. For the past week every night at about midnight I turn the radio on, about 1/3 volume and it's still playing at about 9am. So, 9 or 10 hours per charge is what I've been getting.. but of course it's still pretty new, dont know its lifespan. The only thing I don't like is that the battery is built into the radio, it's not made for replacement. However you can put regular D batteries in it, but that defeats the whole purpose of having a rechargeable radio! When the internal battery does die, I see 5 screws - I'll probably open it up and put another battery in there anyway, even though it's not made to. Can't be that difficult. All in all, for the price, it's a hell of a bargain

Nice novelty, some caveats
Ok, got it and tried it out. Let's go over some of the items included:- Ability to play all three bands (FM, AM, SW).- 3.5mm Headphone jack.- Ability to act as a bluetooth speaker.- Ability to play MP3s directly from a Micro SD card.- Can be used with pack-in plug, spare USB-C cable, or can be run on batteries.- Pack-in plug is universal, so easily replaced if lost/stolen.- Reminds me of an old radio my family had, only with more features.- Beefy weight. Not as likely to be blown down.- CHEAP!Now, complaints- No display for MP3. Hope you remember your music.- VERY basic MP3 player. It plays, skips tracks back and forth... that's it.- MAX SD card size is 32gb.- As with an old radio, it has one speaker. It's decent sounding, but it would be nice to have stereo sound.- USB-C charging is on top, not back like with the power cable.- Only the power cord is included, nothing else.- Only can order one at a time. I needed 2, so I had to order each one separately. It's a novelty, but despite some drawbacks, can be a fantastic player.
