Best Ever Assistive Device!!
Best Ever Assistive Device!! Seriously, this makes getting in and out of the car so much easier, the design is spot on. Purchased this for a family member during surgery recovery, and before using this it was challenging getting into a vehicle. Having an extra handle is very helpful. It isnt heavy, feels sturdy, good color easy to see right away and stores in the door pocket nicely. Im thinking to get one for everybody I know as Christmas gifts!

Piece of mind when elderly get in car
I got this for my FIL who has difficulty getting in and out of the car. I wasn't sure, but it turns out that he actually likes using it. The handle attaches to you car door hook and doesn't scratch anything. Then the person using it can put their weight on it when entering or exiting the car. It is better than hanging on the the car door or trying to cling to the ceiling (not that I have ever seen this happen). The handle is surprisingly strong and I am not fearful that it will break. Overall - highly recommend

Bought for my wife, who recently had hip replacement, she is very happy for the help it gives exiting the car.

Sturdy and stable grip easy to attach, use, remove and store in door compartment
Two pack is great for more than one vehicle. GrandDad can easily pull himself up out of the low car seat with this sturdy handle. Comfortable secure grip is much safer and better for his hand than trying to push on the bare door latch as before. Fits easily in door compartment. Contrasting colors easy to see. Wipes clean easily.

They work just fine
My wife is relatively small -- she says she is "concentrated" -- and suffers (silently) from sciatica. Hence, getting in and out of our two cars is problematic for her. (I am tall, and can grab the upper door jamb of the car to hoist myself out.) She seems to like these, and finds them useful. I keep one in her car, driver's side (the door pocket thing), and one in my car, passenger side (ditto). Easy to "install", and helpful.One still needs to "apply" them -- put them in the door's "hook" -- and have the strength and range of motion to use them. But as leg-muscle-assistants, they are perfectly legitimate, and comfortable to use. Worth a try for the cost, $22. 4 Stars.A personal assistant might be 5 stars. I try to help, but she's impatient.

Easy to use and store in door storage area.
Easy to insert in front row doors. Minivan sliding door has angled metal catch and is inserted on an angle. Works in both regular doors and sliding door openings.
