I recently installed the Generator Exhaust Extension Kit, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, even for someone with minimal experience. Once installed, the kit made a noticeable difference in reducing noise, making my generator much quieter during use. It’s a must-have if you're looking for a more peaceful environment while running your generator. Highly recommend!

Installation was easy, although neither of the 2 supplied adapters fit my Duro Max XP13000EH. I cut the flange off one end of an adapter - it is exactly 1-1/8" OD, and attached it to a 1" copper long radius elbow. Fits perfectly, although the solder I used quickly melted out. I secured it with a self tapping screw and sealed with Permatex muffler sealant - sold on Amazon. Had to shorten the flex hose to fit my installation - also no problem with a hacksaw. The clamps fit well and fit the hose perfectly. The only quibble is the welding done on the pass-thru. Whoever did that needs to go back to welding school. The tacks burned through the sleeve in several places. I added a hose clamp to secure the muffler to the pass-thru sleeve. That should have been included. Not much quieter than the stock setup, but I did not buy it for that. The flex smokes when generator is running, but I read (YouTube) that the lubricant used in forming the flex will quickly burn out. Hope so. The vent fan I installed takes care of the minimal smoke for now. Not exactly a "universal" bolt-on kit, but any DIY'er should be able to make it work satisfactorily. Good value for the price!

The product does seem well made but the advertisement is misleading at best.This muffler does not quieten down my Generac generator at all. I would have to say it may be the same decibel level at best. I would not recommend to anyone wanting to make their generator quieter. All it seems to do is take the standard generator noise and change it to a motor bike sound.

Big improvement in exhaust noise level.

I connected directly behind present muffler using provided tape to seal between muffler and provided pipe before and after clamps. Seems to have helped dampen exterior noise from generator besides fumes.

Seems to be just what is advertised. Will know more when I actually use the generator.

I was able to drill through my metal shed and exhaust the generator fumes out. No automatic carbon monoxide shutdown now so I can leave it in my shed running. I'll need a fan now to keep it cooler in the summer if I need to run it.
