They are great at picking up small invertebrates without hurting them.

With the departure of BioQuip it has been difficult to get specialized items like this. This set is very comparable to the ones I've been buying for years (albeit a bit pricy). Works well for retrieving individual maggots from a corpse.

Came in a portable pouch so I could keep them together and carry them in it. Not sure what that cancer warning was for on the package though as I'm not eating anything with them lol.

Light, functional featherweight forceps that do the job for manipulating small delicate objects (like insects).

Strong enough to hold wings, but also flexible enough and smooth enough not to damage the wings.

I use these for my dried flowers as they come out of the flower press and they work great as I design cards and other creations with the flowers.

Forceps work well for handling insects. I’m so bummed that bioquip closed! 😭I guess Amazon will have to do.
