Nice sound from a small soundbar - but there are issues
The setup of this soundbar and subwoofer straight out of the box was simple and quick. We used the included ARC HDMI cable to connect the soundbar to our smart TV, plugged the RCA cable from the subwoofer into the soundbar, and plugged the power transfer cable in. Then we switched the TV audio to ARC output. The soundbar powers up and down automatically when the TV is turned on/off, the volume can be controlled with the TV remote. We still need to use the soundbar remote if we want to adjust treble and bass though. The sound is decent for smaller spaces - not as dynamic as a multi-speaker surround system, or spacious as other (more expensive) soundbars - but the subwoofer fills in the low range bass you can feel like you'd expect from a subwoofer. There are several shortcomings however:- There are no batteries supplied with the remote control. You'll need two AAA batteries for it.- The power cord, subwoofer cord, and TV connection cable (ARC, Optical, or Aux) make for a rather visually messy installation.- The subwoofer RCA cable is very short (5-1/2 feet). It is hard-wired into the subwoofer, and the other end has an RCA plug that goes into the soundbar. We wanted to put the subwoofer off to the far side of the wall that the TV is on, which meant adding an RCA extension cable of our own.- The included ARC HDMI cable is also short - it was just long enough to go from the TV output port to the soundbar directly under the TV. If you want to mount the soundbar anywhere other than directly beneath your TV, you might need a longer HDMI cable.- There are standoffs with keyhole slots built into the soundbar for wall mounting. There is also a 90 degree adapter for the ARC HDMI cable to plug into - otherwise the included HDMI cable plug is too long to fit between the soundbar and the wall without the adapter. But the adapter directs the cable downward - so the cable is visible dangling beneath the soundbar. This doesn't make for a very pleasing installation if you like a clean, cord-free appearance. It would have been nice if another adapter was included to direct the cable upwards - then the cable would be hidden when mounting the soundbar beneath the TV.- The power transformer is a rather large brick that plugs into a wall outlet. If you want/need to plug it into a power strip, it will need to go on the end outlet since the transformer will cover about 3 other outlets.- The multi-language instruction manual is small - and the text is tiny! I had to use a magnifying glass to read some of the print. I really wish manufacturers would spend a couple extra pennies and print instructions on a full sheet of paper - or at least use a minimum of 10 pt. font for easy reading.Overall, this is an okay soundbar that is easy to setup and use quickly.

Way better than I expected I recommend it.

I've had better
The soundbar has a light on it that stays on too long and when you change inputs sometimes it reverts back to the default soundbar setting so you have to select the input again.

Incredible for the price… if you get one that works.
Shockingly good sound for the price. I got this as a secondary system for our bedroom TV. For our main TV, I had tried many, many cheap sound bars before finally giving in and spending the big bucks on a Sonos system that I love - so I know what cheap soundbars usually sound like and this one blows most of them out of the water. Honestly, while it is only 2.1 and the mid range is a little bit lacking it gives our nearly $1k sonos a run for its money on the low end, just because of the subwoofer.I will say that a lot of review here seem to have issues with parts not working, so QA might be an issue. But if you get one that works, I think it’s easily worth the $50-70 it’s been going for.
