This device is decently accurate considering the cost. Take the meter to an environment where you expect HCHO and TVOC to be minimal or non-existent, such as outdoors in clean air. Household disinfectants contain low levels of formaldehyde. Put the sensor near an open bottle and watch the levels spike. For TVOC testing, do the same thing but with a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. Watch for the TVOC levels to spike when placing it near the open bottle. $40 it's definitely worth it considering industrial grade sensors are $100 or more. I like to use this to monitor air quality when I do resin casting in my basement. Numbers may not be exactly spot on but it's within range enough to tell you when the air quality is bad.

I really liked the monitor, because it would beep when the CO2 and HCHO was getting lower than normal range. I have been staying in my RV, which I believed was putting off some kind of smell inside. Then the HCHO went below normal range. My suspicions was correct after purchasing this Air Quality Monitor. I could have gotten very sick from this. It saved my health.

As someone that is a total health nerd and loves to measure everything.. this is awesome!!!!! Air quality is so important in health and longevity and I love being able to check. I even took it to our rental house on vacation just to check. So interesting!

It is an accurate air quality monitor. It provides temperature, humidity, CO2, TVOC and HCHO monitor. Since I just moved to a new apartment and I think those indicators are important for my health. In addition, I can also buy other products to maintain those things within normal condition.
