The media could not be loaded. I can’t say enough about this fireplace. I was so worried as I am very picky and thought I would find fault with it. I haven’t. It looks great. The stone appears natural, the mantel is real wood and looks great, the fire puts out heat nicely and I love the flames! I hated all of the fireplaces that had a wooden base as they looked so fake. This one has a stone base and looks much more realistic. A++++

This is a beautiful fireplace--everything about it is quality--from the fire to the heating unit. We purchased two of these after moving to a new home, and leaving the previous one behind. We have one in the bedroom and one in the basement. We keep both running with the artificial fire 24x7, which adds a classy touch even in Spring and Summer, and based on our previous unit, it'll keep running for years.We live in MN and it gets cold here. Very cold. This fireplace and its high-end heating unit works great! It can keep a large room warm and the blower as well as heating unit run silently--something you'll value at night. The thermostat and remote are easy to use, and we are delighted with this product, which despite of its size and weight shipped *free* from Amazon and arrived safely. Highly recommend this excellent fireplace!

This kit is surprising at first, we'll made sturdy parts, readable instructions and rocks that look like real rocks. Then when you put it together there are some issues. First one is the base bottom needs some sort of pad down there or the unit will scratch and Mar a wood/tile floor. I put furniture pads all along the bottom, that worked well. Then next once the flame unit is put in there are only screws to hold the bottom in tight, the top is loose and moves forward and aft. I had to devise a hold back block installed behind the unit to suck it in and hold it tight. Did the job well. This should come in the unit. The finally is that the unit is awesome looking and provides good heat. The drawback is that there is a remote, but no app on your phone to control/change the settings. For the price, it needs this upgrade to be a 5 star in my book.

We adore ours. We decided on an electric faux flame unit for our new home in the woods. We were going to go propane but we have a 2 yr old and where worried about hot fireplaces and stoves. For the price, you bolt it together and you're done. It's fine on it's own, but we built our own hearth for underneath to boost it and provide seating in front. The adjustable electric heater fan puts out good heat, enough to warm our 700ish sq ft living/dining room. Should note the flames are not the fancy newer water vapor ones (what we thought we were getting), it's just lights. BUT, the pattern speed is adjustable, and anyone walking into your house at a glance isn't gonna notice the difference. Other than the heater fan (which you can turn off) it operates silently. The faux field stone fascia is pretty decent looking, and the mantle is a pretty nice piece of wood. Only bummer is the left (facing) side of the unit's fascia had a small crack in it, likely from shipping. It's hardly noticeable at all, and we decided if we want to fix it at some point we could just mix up some plaster of paris and smooth it into the ultra fine crack. but it's probably not worth the effort. You DO need to use gloves during installation as the material seems to contain fiberglass which will leave you with micro cuts and itchy. All in all, it's a cute little piece, and for a minimal price (and no invasive installation, plug and play) you have a heat source and a fireplace.

Love it.They brought the box to our front door where we opened and unpacked it. It took the two of us about 5-7 minutes to bring it all in. We set the pieces on towels on the floor in front of the wall and put it together easily.I will tack the electric cord to the baseboard under the outlet and paint the part that goes up the wall so it is less conspicuous.Beautiful! Dimplex is a great brand and many people think it is a gas fireplace.

The fieldstone components were easy to assemble and the rough sawn wood mantel is very rustic

My husband had it together in no time! Nothing was damaged! The stones look and feel very realistic! The mantle is very nice quality. Our 55” TV fit nicely. The fire looks very real and can have it on without heat if we prefer. Very pleased with the quality! It was pricey but glad we bought it! Highly recommend this to othersI darkened it a little bit by rubbing strong tea with a cloth on the stones. I wanted the stones a little darker. I put several layers until I got it to what I wanted. It worked.

Some of the reviews were correct. The mantel holes do not match up. I screwed 1 side in; the other side the holes are 1 inch off. The instructions are bad, especially with the fire box. There us another Manuel for the fire box. Here they give you screws to fix the fire box to the side of the fireplace. There are no holes on the side of the fireplace. The first screw broke through it took a small (1 inch) chunk of the fireplace off. So I backed out the screw and did not do the other side.As far as the heat I would say fair, not impressed for the price.The color option of the fire is very poor. E2 is for red. Only 1 spot of red. E3 I think is to be blue again just1 spot of blue.I am very disappointed with this product.
