This replaced a Walmart hand truck I bought in the 1980's that didn't negotiate stairs well and had pneumatic tires that were not holding air. The top photo shows the unit you get complete with hand brakes, solid rubber tires and the solid platform. Expect to take at least 2 hours to assemble. Only simple hand tools are needed. The parts included were incomplete because in assembling the axles the kit included four full thickness washers rather than two thin and two thick washers. Using the full thickness washers left insufficient room on the axle to slip in the cotter pins. My True Value hardware had some thin fiber washers that will probably last until I can get the correct parts from Magliner.All that said, it's a nice sturdy hand truck with a braking system and stair climber skids. As assembled it weighs 42 lbs. Would purchase again.

This was sold as new. Package was all broke and as you can see in the pictures the item was put together and used before.It’s dissembled, it will take you a few good hours to put it together. Very poor and confusing instructions.Once it’s put together it looks k, light and good quality materials.For $500 handtruck I would expect a New item, more user friendly and clear instructions.
