You can't take a breath without bumping into mid-century styled lighting in ANY lighting or furnishings store - retail or online. Yeah, I get mid-century is the "in" thing. And yeah, I know that pretty much everyone and their brother loves the style. But, it's not MY thing. At all.So, I was SO THANKFUL to find this classically Tuscan Style aged metallic look lamp and bell shaped shade after a loooong search for something classically elegant, and at a sub-$70 price point (gawd, please spare me more variations on barrel shades). I didn't realize my tastes were so terribly under-represented nowadays, but at least this company is up to the task of providing something for everyone.Firstly, this lamp came packed well to ensure safe transit.Secondly, it's very well made: The base is heavy, sturdy, detailed, and well-finished; the painted resin really has an aged metallic look about it and it comes with a highly detailed matching finial. Just gorgeous. The lampshade is an 8-sided bell shape with firmly attached piping. In fact, my shade looked better than the one in the product photo - less "gapping" and more consistent adhesion.The lamp looks more expensive that it was. I replaced the shade it came with with a black leather one, and am going to use the lovely, original cream lampshade with a vintage lamp in my bedroom. My black shade on this classic base exudes just the right amount of "crafty yet slightly erudite" charm for my eclectic and somewhat forest-core styled living room.Overall, I'd highly recommend this lamp base and its shade to anyone looking for something classically elegant, but at a budget minded price point (especially if you're tastes are far more unique than most everything else you find in typical lighting marketplaces).

I purchased this lamp for my husband’s birthday to put in his office. This is one of the things on Amazon that is high class high-quality, and very attention to detail. I would definitely purchase from this brand again. Years ago I used to buy from lamps plus in Vancouver Washington when they had a store there who knows maybe they still do I don’t live there anymore, but you won’t go wrong with this product in this brand. They have wonderful beautiful lamps.

A little smaller than expected

This is a beautiful lamp. It was easy to assemble and it looks looks so elegant. The shade has a nice shape and I love the colors. They blend in with my curtains and furniture. I highly recommend this lamp. It is so easy to assemble.

The lamp has a lovely timeless design that will blend into almost any decor. It has a brown/bronze tone with hints of a dark copper highlight making it very attractive when in use. It weighs around five pounds and is a nice weight to prevent accidental tipping while trying to turn it on. Its a very sturdy lamp which makes it nice for a night table. The shade is uniquely designed and really enhances the color tones in the lamp . I'm extremely pleased. ❤
