Great quality, pretty stable and easy installation
Just installed this kickstand on my Schwinn Varsity 1250 700c hybrid bicycle. Only thing to take into consideration before purchasing is that this kickstand might not mount properly with some disc brake systems. For me personality, this wasn't an issue since this bike has cantilever brakes. My last pic shows me holding a 5mm Allen key (the most commonly used size on bicycles) somewhat close to where a disc brake rotor would sit so you can see there's little clearance. Depending on frame shape and angle of the tubes on it, i could see the bracing arm and brake caliper lining up, which could also make mounting difficult. It's the perfect kickstand for my needs. Mounted in just minutes, looks good and far more sturdy then my last. I ride a lot, carry a bag with necessities, like a few tools if anything breaks, etc, so the added support def makes me satisfied. Installation tip: When installing, tighten all of the bolts until they are just snug. Doing that before you fully tighten any down will seat the mount where it fits the best, basically pulling itself in line to where it should be. Then, kinda like you would do with bolts that hold your handlebars to the stem, tighten them down evenly, alternating between each bolt a little at a time, until they are tightened fully. Hope this helps! Craig

good solid kickstand
The unit is very well made and easy to install. Very sturdy and works very well. My only complaint is that it didn't come with the Alyn wrench needed to install it. Fortunately, I had the correct size in my toolbox. Caution, when lining up the bolts make sure you have the threads lined up properly. Do not force as you will strip the threads on the unit. Fortunately, I watched a video where the fellow installing the unit stripped the threads and I used caution. All went well and I have a very nice kick stand installed.

Decent kickstand, sturdy enough but the end falls off.
Just barely big enough for my Norco Storm w/ 27.5" wheels, and it's the biggest one I could find. Took a few tries to get to grab correctly onto the upper frame member, but it was doable. After getting it on correctly, I am pleased with how sturdy it holds the bike up. The height-adjustable end seems like a good idea, but unfortunately it has a side effect of occasionally falling off. Easy enough to put back on, but eventually I know I will lose it. I am thinking about epoxying it in place for a permanent setting.

Mountain bike kickstand. Awesome
Fits perfect and installed very easily. Will protect the bike going forward. I should have ordered one many years ago for the bike.

Nice side stand
I bought a couple of these. They work great. They attach easily and stay secured well. The upper brace keeps the side stand from rotating, which is a problem with the other side stands. I would definitely recommend a side stand that has the upper support brace.

Looks a bit cheap, but really gets the job done (great location) and easy to install
My daughter’s bike had a traditional kickstand that had plastic by the center screw (terrible design). When the stand broke, replacing it in the same place didn’t seem like a good idea. We purchased this rear kickstand just to try it. Although a bit intimidating when opening the package (prior to installing it), it actually was very simple to put on the bike. The adjustable stand was very easy to set, and wide base supported the bike well. Frankly, I thought the plastic structure and simple height adjustment we’re going to brake and the stand seemed weak. After using it (Note: Teenager), it’s held up great. Far better than both her old one (and another center mount I bought from a store). Her friends seem to have issues constantly knocking over their bikes, but hers has help up great.

Good but with limitations
This is my second one. I use it on a Mountainbike and for multi-day bikepacking trips with panniers in the bike. Pro: This is the best system I found with mounting points on to different tubes for the frame. This prevents the stand from rotating. Negative: The admittedly heavy weigh of my bike with bags cause the connection piece to bend when the bike stood at too much of an angle at some point (first one I purchased) One the second one, the length adjustment piece broke / spring fell out which made the stand useless. Overall a good stand but have to be cautious with it or it will break.

A nice, solid kickstand. Wish I'd gone with this one sooner.
Fits great on my Crew Defender. After discovering that it didn't come with a kickstand, I tried out an aftermarket center-mounted kickstand, and I realized I had to have it extended very far out in order for the bike to not be leaning over, the kickstand looked like it was going to break, and it would get caught in the spokes of my rear tire if I wasn't careful. This kickstand has none of those problems, and I wished I had gone with it earlier. I was a bit skeptical because I had never seen a rear-mounted kickstand before, but I could tell after mounting it on and trying it for the first time that it was going to be nice and solid; the 2-point attachment also feels like an extra guarantee that it'll stay in place. I'm very happy with it so far and would get again. It also functions almost just as easily using my foot as a center mount one would; I just have to reach back a little further than I'm used to.

a bike stand can go either way- be flimsy and lead to the bike toppling over, or over the top- heavy and cumbersome. This model hits right up the centre- plus is easy to install and adjust to the ideal height for your bike. highly recommend this.

Good stands, decent quality and well priced. Took about 5 mins to fit to my sons bike.

Bought this for my e-bike and it works fine on a flat surface. 4/5 but the top bolt stripped so I had to supply my own ? Must be an awful cheap bolt to strip after only one tighten and it wasn't even very tight ? I hope the bottom extender stays strong also .... time will tell...
