A Hit... My grand baby don't play much with cars... he has an autism spectrum... And is very selective... He loved it... and didn't want to put it down... or for any one else to play with it...

My younger son is OBSESSED with sonic, so naturally, we got him this for his birthday. I think Sonic came out of his seat within the first few hours. The makers should know, especially with kids, that they might, without thinking, pick it up by grabbing ahold of Sonic and not the sides of the car. That sort of thing wears and tears on the itty bitty screw they have under his butt connecting him to the seat of the car, and of course it got stripped the moment he popped out, never being able to be placed back in again. I tried gorilla glueing him into the seat, but that didn't take long for him to break free of that as well. My son continued to play with it even without Sonic fully strapped into the seat sort of speak, but of course, after a short bit, it simply died out, never meaning to last long anyways. Its a fairly expensive toy for the amount of times my son was able to play with it till Sonic popped out and the car stopped responding to the commands of the remote.
