Super cute and easy to use. I thought the power cord could have been longer but I guess it was standard length( like an ironing cord) easy for kids to use with supervision. Heats up fast and super easy to clean. Surprisingly it really toasts the marshmallows well! We used wood skewer sticks because it was so many kids trying multiple “recipes”. I didn’t use the trays it came with but they are handy and can hold enough. I’m happy with the purchase!

Start out by saying I was really skeptical with this! Took everything out of the box and it was very easy to slide the pieces together and center the heating element in the middle. We loved that it had space to put everything in the ingredient holders and allowed for it to be placed in the middle of the table. Drawback is you can only warm one marshmallow at a time effectively BUT it’s not a deal breaker. Just allow for time to warm up. Once a marshmallow touches the hot element it will melt out but should cleanse off pretty easy. We loved the smell of toasted marshmallows and didn’t have a random Oder at all. Good quality for the price and a welcome addition to our family nights. We did allow all of the family from 5 and up use this. Would recommend longer sticks for sure!

There is an interesting cocktail called a Campfire Manhattan (mixture of whiskey, Amaro, and cinnamon syrup) that I serve when we have a raclette gathering. A toasted marshmallow is the garnish. This works perfectly to make the garnish (cut it in half before you toast it). Because it is a cold drink, the marshmallow isn't hot. This allows them to be made well before the gathering. Cheers!

I have used this several times with children. It’s been so much fun. From the picture, I envisioned the trays fitting nicely around the heater, that is not the case. Nonetheless, the trays are useful for holding marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolates & more. I would not allow children to use unattended. The unit becomes very hot. In addition, if children allow a marshmallow to sit on the burner, it will catch fire. We definitely experienced this and quickly blew it out. Nothing that would not happen with an open flame. After it cools, it is easy to clean with non abrasive cleaning agents. It packs up nicely in the box it came in and returns to the pantry. Please let me know if this was helpful :).

I promised my daughter a camp out, and I thought it would be cute to order this for her. When I pulled it out of the box, it smelled... "warm", I don't know how best to put it. I noticed that the metal plate had a burnt piece of debris, so that's gross.The entire base is plastic and has the cheesiest "smores" printed on it in huge letters. The weight and overall feel does not make me confident that it would last throughout the years. The build feels cheap and flimsy, like you'd use it a few times and have to chuck it.The sectioned off trays were a nice touch, and they lend a lot of space which is nice when you're doing it with kids and you can't leave them alone to get more x y or z really quickly.My husband found it annoying that it's just a simple on and off switch and that there's no dial to control the heat. The metal tray on the top also doesn't latch or sit in a deep groove so if you have to shift it at all, you run the risk that it will fall off entirely

Got my son this as one of his Christmas gifts and the whole family loves it. We keep it on the counter next to the s’more staples (graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate) and the s’mores are delicious. I was surprised at how well it roasts and melts the marshmallows. We don’t get them chargrilled like on a fire but they do turn the marshmallow a light roasted color.Worth it!

I read mixed reviews I need this product, but went ahead and purchased it. It takes a bit for the marshmallow to heat up but that's expected since you know, there's no flame. I'd say in about 3 minutes you will have a decently roasted marshmallow. We also made s'mores and it worked great getting the chocolate melted. It worked great for our movie and dinner theme night. I'm pleased with my purchase.
